SKU: 8719326054735 OverviewDescription: A 100% natural soft clay. Bentonite clay, or Montmorillonite is a very soft phyllosilicate mineral clay which is typically composed of microscopic crystals. The particles are plate-shaped with an average diameter of about 1 to 30 micrometer. The clay is named after Montmorillon, in France. Bentonite clay is capable of holding its weight up to 15 times in water.
Purity: Cosmetic quality on sodium basis. - Not suitable for ingestion.

External use:
- Hair care: Often used in hair care.
- Facial mask: Bentonite clay is very efficient as it absorbs the oil and dirt from the pores. It softens and smoothens, and so fades the fine lines on the skin. Especially suitable for clogged pores or acne. Fits both the dry and greasy skin.
- Footbaths: A relaxing and purifying footbath after a good work out, work or party. Use: 1 teaspoon per footbath is sufficient.

- Other purposes: Due to the strong moisture-absorbing effect this clay is often used by swellings caused by fluid retention and tendon injuries etcetera.
