Description: Rubus idaeus Seed Oil is an essential oil extracted from cold pressing of the raspberry seeds, (Rubus idaeus). The raspberry is a perennial plant that belongs to the Rosaceae family. This plant grows to about 2,5 meters high, has a feathery composition and produces flowers in its second year of growth. The fruits are harvested when they reach a deep red color, as they are the ripest and sweetest at that point.
This oil is very popular for use in sunscreens because of its high natural protection factor (SPF).
If you want extra protection from the sun, you can use a sunscreen or oil with at least a SPF of 30. However, most commercial sunscreens contain substances that can be harmful to the body in the long term. Fortunately, there are also natural alternative oils available to protect your skin in a healthy way.
