OverviewDescription: Dipropylene Glycol (DPG) is produced on the same plant as Monopropylene Glycol (MPG) i.e. it is a co-product (as is TPG, TriPropylene Glycol). The process for all of the PGs originates from Propylene Oxide (PO), which is produced from Propylene – this is itself produced by petrochemical cracking units which are fed by Naphtha (from oil), or Gas.
